Description: Hawk Convair1st Issue Box Kit #704circa 1952/3Grey Plastic, Decals, Instructions As mentioned in "Condition Description", the box is fair. Two corners are torn and had been reinforced with tape at one time. The box top is fairly clean, no tears, creases, or significant discoloring. Box front and rear panels show some water damage. Kit is complete. However, one propeller has been broken. All parts still in kit. I believe the Convair may have been first released sometime in 1952 as this is the earliest I have seen any mention of it in print. The last three photos in the listing are pages from dealers flyers. The first two are from the second half of 1952. They show the Convair and list it's price as $1.00. The final picture is from early 1953 showing the Convair at it's new price of 69 cents. NOTE: The flyers pictured in the last three photos are not included in this sale.
