This stoneware pattern is simple....a pink bear with a green bowtie but the colors are so beautiful. The mug has the bears repeated around the mug in between 2 pink horizontal lines and the bowl follows that pattern with 1 pink bear with green bowtie in the middle with one pink horizontal line inside the upper part of the bowl. The Cup measures approximately: 3 in (diameter) x 3 in (h) and the Bowl measures approximately: 6.25 in (diameter) x 1.75 in (h). These are in great used condition free of any chips or cracks and the glaze is perfect. The history of Hartstone Pottery is truly an inspirational American story. Hartstone was first produced in 1976 in Chatham, New Jersey. Pat and Sharon Hart's goal was to create beautiful, handcrafted quality pieces for the preparation and presentation of food. Hartstone's first product was the stoneware cookie mold, which was an instant hit, and Hartstone grew quickly. In 1983 the Harts moved their manufacturing facility to Zanesville, Ohio, in a building that was once operated by the JB Owens Pottery Company, built in 1902. This beautiful old post-and-beam building, fleeced in brick, shows the scars of many alterations, including that of fire. In 1983, Hartstone began producing hand-decorated gift and tableware. Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections.
