Frontispiece with tissue guard and many other plates, all present and correct. The book is in very attractive condition, with some light wear and bumping to the edges, and fading to the spine (see pictures). Internally clean with light browning to prelims and edges of the text block (see pictures). Bookplate of Alfred Bagley to the front end paper (see pictures). Binding tender at front hinge but holding nicely sound and square. Complete in all respects. Provenance: From the collection of works by East Anglian authors held by R C Fiske of Morningthorpe Manor in Norfolk.
