Description: This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the Post-Broadway engagement of the HAROLD ARLEN, E. Y. HARBURG and FRED SAIDY musical "BLOOMER GIRL" at the Court Square Theatre in Springfield, Massachusetts. (The production opened October 5th, 1944 at the Shubert Theatre in New York City and ran for 654 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred NANETTE FABRAY (who had replaced CELESTE HOLM late in the Broadway run) and featured DICK SMART, PEGGY CAMPBELL, HUBERT DILWORTH, OLIVE REEVES-SMITH, MABEL TALIAFERRO, MATT BRIGGS and RICHARD HUEY.
