The intriguing peculiarity of the baboon is his remarkable facial colouring, not to mention his bright blue and red bottom, surely eye-catching to the lady baboons! Out of a sense of decorum, Peter included only the baboon’s colourful face. Peter’s initials appear within the long, curving fingers of the baboon’s hand. The mouse hides out under a shaggy thigh. Those collectors still searching for a “Back Scratch” will find one in miniature on the interior of Version 1.
