UP FOR SALE NICE.....COLLECTORS PIECE....One very nice early Hardy Featherweight Multiplier Fly Fishing Reel with early cloth case from Ed Shenk's estate. Made by Hardy Brothers Ltd. of England. Reel works fine. This reel is an early version with a manual clip process to remove spool and then manually push clip to replace spool. This reel does not have a spring that automatically closes clip. Reel is set up for left hand wind, but can be left or right hand wind. Reel shows some normal wear. Nice Condition overall for age. Small areas of rash or missing finish and a few tiny dings along edge. Please see photos. THIS REEL IS FROM THE LATE ED SHENK'S ESTATE. ED WAS AUTHOR OF FLY ROD TROUTING AND INVENTOR OF SEVERAL VERY EFFECTIVE FLY PATTERNS.
