HANS GEORG RAUCH BEER MUG Vintage Serigraph on Silver Mylar excellent condition

Description: HANS GEORG RAUCH "Beer mug" Large Serigraph published by HMK Fine Arts, Inc. - New York Printed at: Editions Lahumiere - Paris 1981 Paper & Image size: 28" x 38" ~ 71 x 98.5 cm. The illusion in this work consists of drinking men forming the foam at the top of the beer mug. Shading in the photo due to reflections of the mylar in the photo. Serigraph has never been framed, handled or exposed to light, in good condition. Minor creases on the very right edge corner, and a minor imperfection in the Mylar under the mug. ~~~~~~~~~ Rauch born 1939 in Germany and grew up in the small town of Wilhelmshaven. He studied art in Hamburg, and later worked in southern France, an illustrator by trade, Mr. Rauch begun printmaking at the age of 33, his surreal intriguing images with subliminal massages quickly vaulted him into International acclaims. First as an illustrator and then as an artist, Mr. Rauch received awards and certificates of merit both from the Society of Illustrators and from fine art exhibitions. His works have been shown at the Wilhelm-Busch Museum in Hanover, Germany, at the Gallery Lahumiere in Paris and at public and private galleries and museums in Europe the United States and Japan. In the US the late Hugh MacKay of the famed HMK Fine Arts, NYC represented Mr. Rauch.
