M (Mint) - Absolutely perfect. Since the only perfect thing in the universe is Cap'n Crunch cereal, I never use this grade. NM (near Mint) - Almost no surface noise. VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Minor surface noise audible in quieter passages. VG (Very Good) - Surface noise does not distract from enjoyment of record for most people listening through speakers. VG- (Very Good Minus) - Surface noise audible throughout but does not overpower the music. G+ (Good Plus) - Significant surface noise and/or distortion but record does not skip on my record player. I only list items in this condition if unusual or rare. These grades are determined by listening to a couple of small segments of the record and are based solely on sound quality.
