It comes with a black rubber tip and a clear lacquer finish has been applied for a beautiful shine. The handle is wrapped with 10 to 14 feet of paracord that could be used in an emergency situation. This beautiful hiking stick is sturdy and feels very comfortable in your hand. We can cut down any stick if you like one, but it is a little too long, just send us a note at checkout indicating what length you are wanting.
