Description: This is a vintage, soft, handmade blue and red quilt. It’s in well loved condition, but I still love the red and blue, don’t you? It would be great for holidays, such as the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, even Christmas! I do believe there are a few different blue and red fabrics that have been used. There is some fading. It would be great folded up in a cupboard, folded over a chair. It has no bad odor to it. Washed in the bathtub and dried outside. It has thick batting, pretty primitive but hand stitched. There’s probably some machine stitch in there somewhere. Not the best quilting I’ve had my hands on but it has a good look to it. The back is a stripe soft home spun material The batting is fairly thick, but also rather clumpy. The quilt has definitely been used over the years.
