Description: This Scarecrow Quilt would make a great wall hanging for your home during the fall holidays! This quilt was machine-pieced, and machine-quilted in a smoke-free studio. An applique of a a scarecrow with a crow perched on his arm is appliqued in the center of this quilt that is bordered with a solid dark green and various fall prints. The backing and binding were made from the dark green cotton fabric (the photos are much too gray! The green is the same green you see as the sashing on the front of the quilt, see photo #1) and ivory thread was used to quilt this quilt. The design I used is called I Love Fall and features a Scarecrow, leaves, a pumpkin, and an owl. Handmade on machine, carefully sewn and pressed I am not aware of an spots, rips, or stains. Ready to use, display or give as a gift. The binding was machine stitched to the front of the quilt and hand stitched to the back using a blind stitch. The corners have been mitered. It is best not to dry your quilt in the dryer, but if you must, dry it on the lowest heat setting. I prefer to remove quilts from the dryer while slightly damp and lay flat to dry.
