Description: Handmade medicine cabinet that hung in my grandparent's and parent's homes since at least the 1940's, but I do not know who made it or exactly how old it is. There is writing on the back that I believe is GES, which is my brothers initials. It was supposed to go to him when our parents died, but he passed before my dad. Open the door and it smells like Iodine and there are splashes of it on the inside. There is a broken piece on the inside of the door. Someone tried to glue the cabinet in places and was a bit messy. I don't ever remember a lock, but there is a square hole where one might have been and could be again. The mirror shows some wear but works fine. The cabinet needs work and expert cleaning, but a woodworker/cabinet maker should own this and fix it. I do buy the shipping label on line and after I get the cabinet packed the box may not be as big as I have put on the listing. I want to make sure that I can pad it really well.
