Description: A sweet grey stripey junk journal, handcrafted from scratch, with canvas bookbinder's cover, heavy cardstock, PH neutral bookbinder's glue, recycled book ephemera, and string-bound signatures. Total page count is approximately 100. *This journal is lesbian-themed, heavy on the Sapphic. :) See themes listed below, as well as pics, for a general idea. For the poet or writer, there are plenty of pages that are blank or minimally decorated. Would also work well as a personal note journal, mini sketchbook, stickerbook, travel companion, general list space, etc. I like these for poetry journals, writing down quotes, musicians, artists, authors, movies, things to research later, passing thoughts, phone numbers, etc, and it's fun to go through my old journals years later to see what interested me at the time. Overall measurements are 4w x 6h x d. It has a good weight to it, and its small size makes it very portable. I try to use pages that are of substantial thickness, and limit my use of glossy or thin pages, so it makes for a durable writing experience and every page is useable. PAGES/THEMES: lesbians, Sappho, seashells, wiring diagrams, bungalows, rainbows, women, sweaters, short-haired girls in wagons (ha!), T, sharing of tea, music notes, thighs, bones, friends, flowers, fireman's map, 1961, Oregon, Mt Hood area, Wildcat Mtn, Huckleberry Mtn, airplanes, US mail, red baron, fossils. ...There's a movie out about lesbian women & fossils. :D This item was handmade within the last six months and has been carefully stored. My M/O: I'm a book surgeon. I love rescuing old books that have been discarded/damaged/decommissioned and repurposing them into functional works of art. My goal is to save them and give them a new life. I take great effort to make each one unique, and sometimes themed (subliminally or otherwise). My stash books & junk journals make thoughtful gifts, as there will never be another that's identical. :) Please be sure to ask questions prior to bidding/buying, as refunds are not offered on these auctions. I always charge just a small amount for shipping and then cover any overages myself. US buyers only, please. Thanks kindly for looking, and for supporting an indie artist! :)
