ALL AT INCREDIBLY LOW PRICES!!! •Condition: Pre-Owned; No damage -only normal light scratches from years of use... but no chips... just beautiful •Color: Orange with White interior •Dimensions: The medium-sized vase stands at 8.5" tall, has a width of approx. 5-3/4". •Makers Mark: No signature and no maker's mark. •DESCRIPTION: This blown-glass vase features three elegant, transparent, and stair-stepped windows that showcase the beautiful orange color of the vase. It has a contemporary design. And, the Italian hallmark of a Murano vase (with finestre windows), but is not marked Murano. You can see that it is handblown by the punty mark, on it's bottom. *NOTE: WHAT IS A PUNTY MARK?: It is a small RING-SHAPED SCAR on the bottom of the vase, also known as a "PUNTY MARK", that indicates that the glass was blown by hand. This mark is left when the blowing tube, or pontil, is broken off from the glass. This particular vase features clear orange and white cased colors of glass with three finestre type windows placed. *NOTE: WHAT ARE FINESTRE WINDOWS?: Simply put, windows that are placed to give to viewer a peek thru the entire vase. In order to push the limits of glass-making Archimede Seguso (Murano Glass) had produced some vases with finestre windows, of clear glass.
