Description: Hand-thrown splatter-glazed shallow bowl or plate decorated with muted blue flowers against a blue-gray background. This 9.75" diameter hobbyist piece is about 2.25" tall and seriously heavy. The chunky, textured, spontaneous quality of the design plus the muted colors drew me to it. It is signed with the initials "J.Z." and a blue flower on the bottom. Condition is very good with no apparent damage -- see pictures. 54.3 oz.
