Description: Hand Painted unsigned Pottery Mallard Duck Tureen Dish w/lid 6 Duck Shaped Bowls. Unique, detailed and exquisite clay pottery/ceramic set includes a tureen (soup) bowl with lid and 6 individual bowls in which to serve- all depicting a mallard duck breed of fowl. This pre owned set appears to have been used very little if at all as it is a wonderful set for display (artwork/painted detail is amazing) - especially for a collector of duck themed art, or possibly decorating with a farmhouse decor in mind. The only noticed flaw(s) on the entire set are one particular individual dish (has most yellow coloring inside- pictured) the tail of the duck has been damaged and possibly repaired enough to continue use but close up it is noticeable. As this is an unmarked/unbranded item, it’s possible this damage occurred while making/creating as it is a one-of-a-kind set. There are a couple of “paint knicks” on one side if tureen towards back (pictured) but barely noticeable at all. It is encouraged to hand wash this set if using for food service and clean up.
