Hand Painted Arizona State Bird, Flower, Flag On Live Edge Basswood By Phyllis

Description: You are buying a new never displayed hand painted out-line of Arizona with a sunset inside and lighter on the outside. The state flower is the saguaro with the cactus wren as the state bird. I've made a butterfly with Arizona flag in it and this is a wood cut-out. As the antennas, I drilled a small hole in its head and glued two wires in it so they stick out. The main wood is basswood and it is 10 3/4" in height x 11" wide and is 3/4" thick. The butterfly flag, I cut out on my bandsaw, then painted it and is glue on in the front and screwed on from the back-see other pictures. The butterfly is 3" x 4" in and made out of 1/2" (actual 7/16") aspen wood. Looks like a 3D picture. The basswood is bought from a hobby store and the aspen wood bought from and general store that carries wood. You can see I have put a hanger on the back for easy hanging.
