Thie Hand Made Chess Board measures 17 1/2" x 17 1/2" and has pieces of velveteen in the corners to protect the surface on which it is placed. The Hand Carved Pieces range in size - King 3 1/2" tall; Queen 3" tall; Bishop 2 3/4" tall; Rook 2 3/4" tall; Knight 2 1/4" tall; & Pawn 2" tall. They all have velveteen on the bottom to protect the surface on which they are placed. The Square Hinged Wood Box measures 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 3 3/4".
