Guilloche Enamel, Diamond, and Pearl Locket

Description: A gorgeous, delicate locket with guilloche enamel, 14kt yellow gold embellishment, twelve (12) seed pearls, measuring approximately 1mm each, and one (1) round, transitional cut diamond, measuring approximately 2.5mm. The locket opens to reveal two areas where photos could be placed, however there is no glass or other covering on either of the halves of the inside of the locket. Marked on the inside with "14K" and the "Allsopp-Bliss" hallmark, which I estimate puts the manufacture of this piece in the 1920-1930s era. The back of the locket is engraved with letters that are stylistically intertwined. Comes with a fine Singapore chain (not original to the locket, but a later replacement) measuring approximately 18 inches, has a spring ring clasp, and weighs approximately 0.74 grams. The locket measures approximately 1 inch in diameter with a ring and bail attached that add another 18mm in length to the locket. The locket weighs approximately 8.65 grams. The overall condition is very good, pre-owned. The inside of the locket has some darker marks (see photos), but the outside is in very good condition with minimal scratching to the gold. The enamel showing very little wear and the gemstones seem secure in their settings. The hinge works very well and the locket opens and stays closed as needed.
