Description: GUILFORD, Connecticut Fire Department Patch 4" x 2.75" *NEW/UNUSED*This patch was obtained from the collection of Jack Knight. Jack appeared in the films "The Long Goodbye" and "Wicked, Wicked". He had a regular supporting role in a sitcom called "Lotsa Luck" with Dom DeLuise. On "Cheers" he played Jack, one of the regular barflies seen in the background. Jack is an avid softball player, and has also toured several times with the world-famous four-man softball team, "The King and His Court".After 9/11, Jack (aka The Singing Patriot) went on a national tour of fire & police stations to give thanks and perform for them (singing), he received these patches in return from the stations. We are selling his collection exclusively here, please see all listed. He is now 86 and lives in Studio City, CA. Jack wanted partial proceeds from these sales to go to Operation Gratitude in Chatsworth, CA. Operation Gratitude is a nation-wide nonprofit providing Americans with opportunities to honor our military, veterans, and first responders through hands-on volunteerism.
