Description: I have for sale an exceedingly rare Grundig Majestic model 3192 (or 3192U, depending on if you look at the front or back of the radio) stereo tube-style radio. Receives 4 different bands: LW, BC, FM, and SW. The person I bought it from plugged it in in front of me and there was no response so it's sold for parts or repair. Cosmetically, it's in good shape. Wood housing has some light wear and scratches but no serious scratches, cracks, dents, or other issues. Front fabric over the speakers is in good shape though there's some age-related spotting. Both dials are present though one has an unfortunate crack and part missing, visible in the pictures. Indicator dial face plate is in very nice shape - no damage and no fading or cloudiness. All buttons are present and undamaged, though the Off and FM ones seem to sit a little lower than the rest. Logo is presently bug for some reason the last 3 letters are bent down a little. FM indicator moves only a tiny bit when you move the dial, and the indicator for the other bands doesn't move at all when you turn it. Tone button clicks correctly and appears to change between the two modes. All 4 feet are present. Back panel is included and undamaged Inside, it's rather dusty. I do not see any missing tubes, and all 3 original speakers are present. Oddly, there's some original paperwork folded up in both corners next to the chassis. Chassis is held tightly and not loose at all. On the outside of the back panel there's more paperwork (the operating instructions envelope) and there's also a Photofact Folder for models 3192, 3192US, and 3198. This particular model has not been available on eBay for almost two years. Don't pass up this opportunity to own this incredibly rare unit!
