Group of 6 Barclay Winter / Christmas figures, plus 2 sleds

Description: This auction is for a vintage hand painted group of 6 metal Christmas figures plus 2 sleds. I have a lot of these figures for sale, so I put them in groups with a variety of poses and conditions in each group. These appear to be the earlier versions. They have the full black "dot and comma" eye (later figures have a simple blue dot for the eye, and no eye at all in last versions), they have more colors per figure (up to 5 on some of them), and the girl skater is not the late version where she's a good deal more robust. There is also a boy in red and blue on a sled, a girl in yellow on a sled, a pink and a red girl skater, and a blue man skater and skier. The Barclay Winter people line first debuted pre-WW2. The metal versions were made up through the early 1960's (I've got a 1963 or 1964 Sears Christmas catalog that has their box set for sale in it). Barclay Winter figures are a great series to collect. There's a wide variety of figures, endless paint and mold variations. Look great set up as part of a train village or garden, or on a fireplace mantel or a table top as part of a Christmas village setup. Shipping: My auctions end on Saturday. If you pay by 5:00 E.S.T. on Sunday I'll have them in the mail on Monday. Payments made later in the week or purchases made from my store are shipped as soon as I can get to the Post Office, but that can take several days. I combine shipping on all purchases made and paid for at the same time (unless you're combining a book and toys as books use inexpensive media mail in the U.S. while toys can't). I use First Class (up to 16 oz) and Priority mail. Books ship media mail. I only charge actual postage - no added fees. I use lots of bubble wrap, peanuts, and good boxes. In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually. Original boxes or other original paper item go into a plastic bag in case you get delivery on a rainy day. International Shipping: I gladly ship international. Please note that there can be lengthy delays at Customs. Per eBay rules, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges -- these charges are the buyer's responsibility. Return Policy: Returns are accepted. I use a loupe to examine the toys while I'm listing them and I try and mention the significant condition issues I see.
