Description: For sale is a grouping of RUSTY and PITTED M1 Garand barrels. There are 10 barrels in this sale. These are all either USGI with unreadable dates or foreign made replacement barrels for M1 rifles. These are from a large lot of M1 barrels that i bought and these 10 are all unservicable for use on a rifle. To be clear, these would not be something i would even put on a drill rifle. (I have other listings that would be suitable for drill or display rifles.) They have one or more of the following conditions: Dark/pitted bores due to corrosive ammunition use, rusty chambers, heavy rust/pitting on exterior, bad or poor threads near muzzle, barrel plugged with old cleaning cloth, and one of these has a weld about 2/3 of the way up from the chamber end. Most only have pitting in one section of the barrel exterior, such as breech end or muzzle end, but one has pitting all the way down the barrel. See pics. These would be excellent candidates to use for making knives or other items. I do combine shipping and will give you a GREAT DEAL ON purchasing multiple barrel listings AND i often travel between Huntsville and Mobile/Pensacola so if you see other listings you want or would like to make a bulk purchase and meet me somewhere in Alabama to have no shipping then we can certainly work a deal. I am motivated to move these and even have an interest in bartering for items such as garand receivers, and other items so if you are interested in bulk purchases of Garand barrels or Garand stocks let me know! I also just purchased some garand stocks for resale(very very few with cartouches).
