Description: Gretsch / G6129T-59 Vintage Select 59 Silver Jet with Bigsby Silver SparkleDescriptionThe Silver Jet, born with the black-top Duo Jet, has changed specifications over the years.The G6129T-59 Vintage Select '59 Silver Jet is a chambered mahogany body model designed with vintage specs, inspired by the 1959 Silver Jet, which features a Filtertron pickup and neo-classic (thumbnail) position markers, among the 1950s Silver Jets.The 13.5-inch body has an attractive two-tone color scheme, combining a maple top with a silver sparkle sheet and a chambered mahogany back finished in a dark mahogany stain color.The pickups are TV Jones TV Classics, which reproduce the vintage Filtertron, and the controls consist of individual pickup volumes, a master volume, and a master tone switch. It also features a treble bleed circuit that provides the same tone as full volume even when the volume is turned down.
