And ... we're talkin' really-hot G.D., just on the near-heels of the nothing short of Monumental '89 Summer Tour ! And the Pass Set offered here, for this N.C. run ? My 3/14/90 Cap Centre Pass ( which is Show-Used ! ) is one of my personal prized G.D. possessions, and I can probably joggle your mind on that ! night ... let's just say Loose Lucy !!!!! As the earth begins to shake mightily in Maryland - Wow ! And, my point here being ... that the 3/14/90 Pass is identical ( design & colors wise ) to this 3/31/89 Pass, with the Blue / Yellow color-scheme / contrast offered - and though I could be mistaken, I believe this exact design was only ever used twice ! ( in Yellow / Blue ) - for 3/14/90, and for this one here on 3/31/89 for Greensboro !?? ... which, I personally believe it to be the Very-1st !!? Grate ! stuff, either way ... Which for all reasons obvious, makes this one all the more Awesome !! ... and really darn Rare !!! This '89 Spring Tour touched down in nine ( 9 ) East Coast / Mid-West States ( GA / NC / PA / MI / OH / KY / IL / WI / MN ) ... and for both the Band & Fans, it was truly the ' launching-pad ' for what was right around the corner - in the form of 1989-90 Grateful Dead ! Then again, I should probably more properly refer to this Amazing Spring '89 Tour as the actual beginning - of this G.D. " Hot Streak ! ".
