Description: The Grand Rapids Owls originally started as an IHL team in the 1970s. They were nomads somewhat, starting off in Columbus, then Dayton, before finding their way to Grand Rapids. They moved mid-season in 1978-79 from Dayton to Grand Rapids, and despite the turbulence, went all the way to the IHL Finals in 79. The team would go out of business after the 1979-80 season but would be re-born many years later as a junior team in the early 00s. This is a modern version of the Owls home white jerseys for the new millennium. All stripes and seams are stitched and the jersey dons a fully embroidered logo to capture all of that true old school hockey feel.
