Description: Grainger Worcester 1477X Cobalt Blue & Gold Gilt Floral Sugar & Creamer C. 1830 Very pretty early British bone china porcelain creamer and sugar. Nicely decorated in a cobalt blue and gold gilt floral sprig pattern. With gold gilt highlights to the handles. These do not have a manufacturer's mark, but the have a distinctive form and shape that matches marked pieces of Grainger Worcester. Has the pattern number 1477 in gold on the bottom. These have overall crazing typical of bone china, some staining, & some wear to the gilding. The creamer has two in manufacture firing separations on the inside below the spout and the sugar also has an in manufacture firing separation to the inside. The sugar measures approximately 7 inches wide from handle to handle x 5 3/4 inches tall. The creamer measures approximately 6 1/4 inches from spout to handle x 4 1/2 inches tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces.
