THIS GORGEOUS TROPHY CUP WAS SPECIAL ORDERED BY THE FENIMORE CC IN SCARSDALE, NY FROM GORHAM WITH A THEME OF JAMES FENIMORE COOPER'S "LAST OF THE MOHICANS". JAMES FENIMORE COOPER WAS A RESIDENT OF SCARSDALE 100 YEARS ALMOST TO THE DAY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE FENIMORE COUNTRY CLUB. THE CLUB WAS REORGANIZED IN 1936 AND THE NAME WAS CHANGED TO "FENWAY GOLF CLUB" WHICH STILL EXISTS TODAY IN SCARSDALE. THIS TROPHY IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH A GREAT PATINA AND VERY CRISP DETAILS. THE WEIGHT OF THIS PIECE IS 28.7 TROY OUNCES. IT MEASURES 10 1/2" TALL X 5 1/2" WIDE.
