Description: Vintage Dogwood Blossom Progress Quilt, ca 1950 Gorgeous vintage appliqué dogwood quilt made by my great grandmother. Expertly hand quilted with scalloped edges bound in blue. Hand appliquéd with lovely hand embroidered details throughout. Likely made from a Progress quilt kit which were popular for floral applique quilts of the time. Washed and in excellent condition. One light stain (approx 2” dia) on backside. Faint age tanning along scalloped edges. Please review photos. All cotton and absolutely gorgeous! Medium weight Measures 86” x 76" (pic shown on full size bed- could also fit a queen with shorter side drop ) Please note that this is a vintage and antique textile, please read the descriptions carefully.
