I don't know the exact age of this piece, but it looks contemporary and I would estimate 2000's based on the excellent condition of the painting and frame. The pastoral covered bridge scene is beautifully executed in shades of forest green, seafoam green, sage green, navy and teal blue with a pop of bright red (geranium flowers). I believe this must be a painting from a northeast location because it looks like there are some mountains or hills in the background and Florida is mostly flat. Also, the foliage is more consistent with a northern location, and is beautifully painted. It is framed with an off-the-shelf wood composite frame, finished with a light colored stain, that works very well with the painting. The picture itself is in very good condition, with no visible stains, tears, or holes. The frame has no visible scratches and scuffs and no splinters, cracks, or gouges. The frame's cardboard backing of the picture has a scuff at the top right corner (see photos - probably a price tag or label), but the stand and hanging brackets are firmly intact. The glass clean with no cracks or chips. Please see photos for more detail. This extended photograph is much more striking in person that the photographs convey.
