Features a gorgeous iridescent pink, split foliage design on an iridescent blue ground. Signed, Charles Lotton 1992 on the base. Just an absolute eye catcher! Circa 1992 and it measures 9 1/2" tall x 6 1/2" in diameter. The vase is in fine condition, having no chips, cracks or repairs. Please review the photographs thoroughly. Woods tend to get stress fractures on support systems and where wide board construction is used. 85% of 18th Century veneers have had some restoration during their life. Pine secondary woods might fracture, making overlays and veneers have the same fracture lines. Old finishes might alligator, fade, fisheye or darken, depending on where the pieces was placed. All of these are desired by a true collector and gives it personality. Do not expect these early pieces to be like new. These pieces age gracefully just as we do, giving them unique personality.
