Description: This golden calcite/ Barite on sphalerite specimen could easily be part of a museum collection! From elmwood mine Tennessee. It's quite large, an extra large cabinet Specimen at 22.3 cm in the longest direction! An extremely aesthetically pleasing piece. Only thing I don't like is that you have the beautiful 2.5 cm terminated golden calcite on one side and the Barite ball/cluster (measuring 4.1 cm across) on the other making it a little tough to display. An absolutely stunning specimen from a loccality that shut down in 2023 and is said that it may never open again making these specimens the last of their kind. Hope you enjoy!
