Modeled by master sculptor Helmut Fischer in 2000. It has an incised 2001 copyright date along with the TMK-8 trademark. Also bears the inscription "M.I. HUMMEL CLUB Membership Year 2002/2003" in addition to a black and yellow flying bumble bee in a half circle. This is a companion piece to Hummel Number 2148/A, "Wait For Me." This is a closed exclusive edition. Only opened boxes to inspect and provide accurate item description for this listing. Shipping Box seal was opened years ago when received in the mail but hummel was Never Displayed! Has Goebel Bumblebee Trademark (TMK-8) stamped in Blue on underside of base. This is the first and only available trademark. Incised Hummel Number "2148/B", Factory Control Number "60" and Copyright Date "2001" on underside of base. Incised "M.I. Hummel" on rear top side of base. Hummel stands at about 4" tall, which is the exact height listed in the catalogs. Figurine has factory applied "Ich mochte mitrudern First Mate" name sticker on rear side of base. Master Painter Hand-signed signature in black on underside of base, located to the right of the TMK-8 stamp. Original Goebel shipping box is included and is in Excellent condition considering it's age. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity Card, Green Quality Control Paper, Goebel Survey Card, original hummel box with foam inserts and original Goebel shipping box. Closed Edition.
