The printer has done a BEAUTIFUL job of representing a wide variety of BUGS in pretty-accurate, full color renditions. This printer is known for this! However, the design is called GLOW BUGS...so how are these BUGS supposed to GLOW IN THE DARK...MAGIC? WHO CARES! THEY REALLY DO...just not in multi-glowing colors. The glow ink was mixed in among the layers of the other colors for a glowing design like I am not used to seeing...and the effect is WONDERFUL! I was skeptical when the lights were on, but once I turned them off, I had to admit that I was impressed. If your kid loves BUGS (and can still wear a Youth size SMALL), S/HE WILL WANT ONE! S/HE WILL NEED ONE! Whether anyone cares about the glowing part or not, it is STILL a gorgeous design. These shirts have a small name-drop/sleeve-print from a botanical gardens in South Carolina, a place that has to deal with their own share of bugs, whether they glow or not!
