Description: Brand new, never used. This helmet was listed as youth size small but I would call it medium since it is 21-22 inches (size 7) and more of a hard fit. Weighs almost 4 pounds. Its DOT certified, has a nice round shape and soft padding is removable for washing. The visor flips up as well as the entire front face shield area, giving you the option of wearing it as a full or 3/4 style helmet. (So its modular, the button to flip up the entire face is located on the inside of the chin, right above/behind that piece of tensioned fabric) Also has a second option for a visor, in more of a face shield type position that can be pushed up and this visor is tinted for sun protection. Was listed to have a light-weight thermoplastic alloy shell. It has an emergency release pull and also has a few air vents here and there. Overall is very sturdy. If this helmet fit me better I would be secure and happy in choosing to wear it.
