Description: This single tumbler is footed with a ribbed design at the base. It has a matte finish. The color is an old ivory gray, with a hint of blue. There are no chips or cracks or crazing. It looks unused but it does have two places near the rim that have a brown tinge. One about 1 inch and one about 1/4 inch. I have taken photos of these places. Otherwise it looks like someone reached back into 1940 to pluck it off a shelf. Everything on my hmnpwr site and my sister's 2vegburg site is from our parent's collections. They started collecting in the early 70's, mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area at the flea markets, shows, auctions and estate sales. They also traveled to LA or the east coast to buy and sell. Their interests were mostly early American to midcentury American and Scandinavian ceramics. They also collected tableware, concentrating on California production. We regularly list new pieces that have been stored away for decades. If for any reason you are not satisfied, just contact me; I accept returns and will pay shipping both ways.
