Double inlaid purfling, beautiful deep rosewood fingerboard and pegs, tight top grained spruce top, large, slanted f holes as befits the original Maggini, ebony chinrest, stunning reddish golden varnish, much more character to other violins in the same era, my estimate is at least 100 years old.
