Description: This item is a vintage pair of GINO RUGERRI's figurines of 2 children studying, which are licensed reproductions of Italian Neo-classicist sculptor, Antonio Canova. Made of resin, it has a matte, cream-colored finish, and is signed G. RUGGERI at the bottom of each figurine. This would be a nice addition to any elegant or classically designed den, office or study, and could be displayed together or as bookends. Pre-owned and in very good vintage condition. Both figurines have been thoroughly cleaned, but still reflect some marks normal of vintage wear. As of date of listing (Nov 2024), they have a slight odor of chlorine bleach, as both items were soaked to remove any possible stains, most of which were removed. They are being aired out and may no longer have the odor over time. The only other flaws observed are small marks on the boys' chins, which cannot be seen while displaying normally.
