Or sailboard/surfboard boots? I'm honestly not sure, being a landlubber, but it seems to me they'd work for you in any of these situations... These boots have a fairly rigid sole with a horizontally lined tread - that same material comprises the front and rear of the booties, with neoprene in between. You access them from a large YKK zipper on the ankle side, which when opened, has a flare of neoprene that fits snugly on your lower leg. Zip them up and attach the Velcro closure tab, and you're toes are ready for the water. The inside tag notes these are a US size 9, a Euro size 42 or a UK size 8. Seems like these are women's sizing, though they could easily be unisex - probably a men's US size 8. The fiber content is 80% neoprene and 20% nylon. The booties weigh one pound 11 ounces prior to shipping, and look to be in very good gently used condition - no holes, tears, rips or snags.
