Here is a fantastic reissue of the 1964 ES-335 fresh from the Custom Shop and made exclusively for Guitar-Place as part of Gibson's "Made to Measure" program! Several points were at the center of the objective when planning this very special ES model: In every detail as close as possible to the original Most careful selection of tonewoods. This is the only way to achieve the level of the best originals in terms of sound. Aging and livery by Tom Murphy's crew to capture the look and feel of a '60 Gibson. Thom Fowle (head of the Nashville Custom Shop) guaranteed us a first-class choice of wood - the center block is made of light, resonant maple and the bracing is made of top-quality Adirondack spruce. Together with the high-quality production by Gibson's best guitar builders, instruments have been created whose sound is immediately reminiscent of Eric Clapton's legendary sound on his "Cream" albums.
