Also know as HOP's (Hand Over Prints) This might be the most fascinating and difficult of all the German collective areas. Issued in 1948 for the currency reform that was inforced in all the German occupation zones. Catalogue used for them is Michel Deutschland Spezial and also sometimes I use the Handbook I collect this area myself, or to be exact I collect one stamp! The 3 Mark Peace Dove (hence there are very few of this value for sale in my Ebay Store) The markets is flooded with forgeries of them, non expertized stamps are very seldome okay. These became in demand among collectors from day 1, so forgeries started to be produced probably within weeks or days after they were put in use. Few areas of philatey have ever been studied like these and the knowledge is constantly changing.
