There are light handling marks and a few very small light scratches on the top lid and a couple small dings. The sides also have a couple scuff marks. There are some light compressions on the edges and corners, almost not worth mentioning. The bottom has a layer of felt with a couple worn areas from storage. The finish is still intact and looks good. The hinge is functional with some light discoloration. The top opens smoothly. They all have light discoloration. There is a key lock that has been tested and works. One key is included. The inside felt is in Very Good - Very Good Plus condition. The felt covers both the top and bottom. It has no rips or tears and the coloring is bright. It is securely fastened to the wood box. There is a molded area that fits a Walther P38 pistol, it has a good shape and shows no unusual wear. This will be a great display box to your favorite P38 pistol. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
