Description: This is a nifty, relatively uncommon German-made post card of Chinese laborers(w/ some stains at the back) sent from the post office of a German steamship on the East Asiatic Line(a pretty good strike of the CDS!), to Gent(a great receiving CDS!), Belgium, on October 15, 1904! It arrived in Gent(a really fine CDS!) on November 19th. The addressee was an associate pastor of a Belgian church! The sender may very well have been involved in some type of Chritian missions there in China! As for the red, 10-Pfg., German issue, it is in fine condition! Noted imperfections aside, this is a really unique piece of German Maritime postal history!
