Description: This is a listing for a Vintage Hand Signed Lithograph Print by George Mathis (1909-1977). This has the title South Carolina Canal and R.R. (Railroad). Mr. Mathis lived in the gold country of California and later had his home and his gallery called Friday House in Coloma, California which was 2 blocks from James Marshall's Gold Discovery in 1848 at Sutters Mill. Our client's bought this from Mr. Mathis in 1975 at which time he hand signed it for them. Included with this lithograph is a history of the artist. Please look at the pictures for the best view of the item as they are part of the description. This measures about 8 3/4" x 11 3/4".Any dark spots seen is just the reflection on my camera.
