Description: Good condition, original frame also good condition. George Bohland was a New Orleans French Quarter artist. His business address was in the French Quarter on Bourbon Street. George was a friend of the family and upon his death, gave several paintings to my father who was also an artist. This is part of that collection. George did portraits, was well known for his clowns, still lifes, landscapes and architectural paintings of New Orleans. This painting dates to the 1970s.
