NOT A GAFF OR CREATED ITEM!This is a Green June Beetle (Cotinis) from Kentucky. I've kept it in my personal collection for about 10-15 years. The beetle is stored in a vial of alcohol preservative but will be shipped damp with cotton or paper towel in the vial due to postal regulations. The right protarsi section has disconnected from the tibia but is included - common beetle damage and no segments missing. Both sides of the beetle are shown in the pictures to show the entire specimen. The mutation is obvious in the pictures - one leg has "branched" at the femur and then one of those has "branched" again at the tibia, adding 2 tarsi (a triple leg) for a total of 8 "legs".
