Description: BALTIC AMBER WITH SPIDER AND BUBBLES! I have had this in my collection box for over 30 years. It is a very nice amber piece from Estonia, collected and polished, maybe 35 years ago. It has a deep brandy color, and many bubbles. I see one big spider complete and totally encased in this specimen. As the photo show,s under magnification the details of this spider is very clear. I am not sure if this spider is extinct or not. This amber is estimated to be between 35 to 45 million years old. The scale with the amber piece is in centimeters, in inches it is 0.8" long and 0.2" thin. I will be obtaining even more ancient Cretaceous Era amber to do thin sections of in the near future.
