Description: We are proud to offer an ORIGINAL Argentine MARINES HELMET made by Fabricaciones Militares in Argentinawith 1982 Argentine ERDL pattern Camouflage Cover with TAG.Same as used by Argentine Marines Units in the Falklands Islands conflict in 1982. Few of these dead-stock helmets were recently found, in great untouched condition. TO NOTE: NOT A BRING-BACK HELMET from the conflict,BUT A TRULLY branded TEXTBOOK ONE FROM THE PERIOD, and it will fit perfectly in any collection.In the same way that NOT all Vietnam War era helmets were actually used in Vietnam this "Time capsule" Argentine M1 Helmet stands by its own. DETAILS AND CONDITION:- The Helmet and Liner are both Argentine made by FM (Fabricaciones Militares) which is believed to start production around early 70's.Please see distinctive details of inverted swivel loop plates low place welded.Paint and sand texture is original both steel and liner. ARA stile replacement chinstraps. - The fibreglass fabric made Liner is complete with sand texture, paint and early smooth webbing tapes and straps in excellent condition. The brown leather headband has the FM round logo in a superb clear stamp. The cover is one of the 2 models used by Marine's in the 1982 conflict, the other is an octopus shaped with slots made in a variation of US ERDL in brown and green dominant patterns.This model is made from gaberdine fabric without dome foldings and slots for foliage and with elastic band on the bottom edge and branded with tag that denotes the maker and 1982 purchease order.Truly period made, branded, tagged and absolutely scarce to find in this wonderful condition.
