Gene Ammons - Groove Blues Original 1961 deep groove mono LP with Bergenfield, NJ address is in VG+ condition. RVG stamped in dead wax. Vinyl has some hairlines, superficial sleeve markings and some pressing dimples on outer rim and a few other places. These did not cause skipping or repetition during play test. The album plays much better than its cosmetics reveal. Three of the four tracks play tested overall excellent sound quality. On track two, side 2, there is some intermittent and consecutive ticks detected through the last half of the cut. Their audibility varies in detection. There's a small squiggly pressing anomaly on track one, side 2, that looks irregular but actually does not affect the sound. VG cover has partial seam splitting along top seam: 4" from opening corner and approximately 2" in center, and some additional top seam dings and tears (see photos). There's a 2 1/2" lower spine split (see photo). Rear panel has discoloration consistent with age. Includes original sleeve, new poly lined inner sleeve and protective poly outer sleeve.
