Gebruder Heubach Bisque Figurine, Girl Holding Eggshell Containers, 7.25” (H)

Description: This adorable Heubach figurine is an antique gem from the town of Lichte, in the state of Thuringia, Germany, and dates from the late 1800s. Unmarked. This is a piece of a girl in a night gown with her hand high holding two egg shaped containers suspended from ropes. She is dressed in white and with pink details including a hairband. The pink eggshells are candy containers and are reminiscent of newborns and Easter. While this particular piece has a pressed 3497 and an 86 in black ink. The sunburst Heubach mark is not present. Marked pieces have previously sold by auction sites such as the German spielzeugauktion. This figurine is a perfect addition to any porcelain collection, porcelain baby lovers, Heubach collectors, and would make a thoughtful gift for a special occasion or loved one. Condition - The figurine is in excellent condition. The figurine has no cracks or chips and no loss to color.
